Jaka Berger is a multi-instrumentalist from Slovenia and he's been creating experimental and improvised music for the past fifteen years both as a solo artist and in collaborations with musicians around the world. Last month, he released an album as Brgs entitled 46/3/84/115. The album features performances of those respective pages from Cornelius Cardew's Treatise on prepared drums. You can stream the album above. You can find more information about the project, as well as purchase the recording, on the Bandcamp page here.
Also out recently was a live recording of Berger with Antti Virtaranta and Rieko Okuda from last year. The recording took place in a swimming pool in Slovenia and runs about 30 minutes. The album was released on the Slovenian label Zvočni prepihi and can be streamed and downloaded for free on the label's Bandcamp page here. You can also stream that album below.
