Australia-based label Tone List has released a new album from Dan O'Connor and Sage Pbbbt. It's entitled lines to and features eleven tracks that "explor[e] the textural varieties offered by their respective instruments". Dan O'Connor plays trumpet while Sage Pbbbt utilizes extended vocal technique. You can stream the album above via the label's Bandcamp page. New Tone List Album Features Jameson Feakes & Josten Myburgh Performing Antoine Beuger Composition
Tone List has released a new album from Jameson Feakes and Josten Myburgh. The album finds the two musicians performing Antoine Beuger's "un lieu pour être deux". The score is written for two performers and is fifty pages long. There are two numbers between zero and three listed on each page, and performers are asked to play those number of sounds very quietly. The album, which you can stream above, is a recording of the two performing 20-something pages.
The digital album can be downloaded for free from the Tone List Bandcamp page here. A CD-R version of the album is also available and it features a "handmade A5-sized matte black case containing art prints" as well as a booklet containing essays.
